I'll be using this thread to post progress on the prototype of our tower defense games. Keep in mind everything will be work in progress and none of the gameplay elements or feature are final. Great idea to start this thread. By the looks of it, your turret it targeting a creep when it hits its LOS (assuming LOS is the red line,) correct me if i'm wrong. When another creep enters the LOS the turret redirects to new creep and repeats until the last one in the wave, then follows that last creep until it is out of the turrets range. Would it be possible to have the turret target and follow the first creep to enter its LOS until it is killed or out of range, then the turret would redirect to next creep at the front of the wave. Hope that made sense. Attached a quick sketch to hopefully help convey my thought. Attachments:

Yes that is very much possible I had initially wanted to do that but I ran into a bug when it comes to conditions to triggering it. I intend to polish and implement that on my next progress report. Thank you!
P.S.
The red line is actually a simple line trace that shows which creep it currently targets, I had set it to where it doesn't show every time it targets a creep so it doesnt show every time . Also there is an LOS present just not visible.

Here are some building silhouettes for each of the 3 different sections. They are all in isometric view based on how the camera angle would be facing. The Red light district for the area with the casino will have a lot of neon signs to really give it that feel for a place that's just corrupted but wants business.

Here is a quick progress report of the current state of the prototype for our Tower Defense Game: 1 . 3 out of the 4 turret towers are prototype ready. I will need nestor to get started with the different types of AI in order for me to finish the last turret tower. Color code of the turret: Black - Gun Nest Blue - Nano Bomber Red - Rail Gun -Damage values, slow times, cool downs are modifiable values so none are set in stone. 2. Base tower has highlight when mouse cursor hovers on it. For easy visibility of interactable objects. 3. Base towers spawn the 3 types of turrets. Currently spawns based on a combination of clicking and keyboard inputs. (Simply for quick and dirty testing). youtu.be/Fg_k3ynRBSANext weeks Goal: 1. Add interactable UI for the Tower Base 2. Add Turret tower upgrade functionality 3. Add Point/money system and UI I was unable to record in Full screen so it looks so tiny. We might need to play around with the camera set up and Ill try to add control over the camera for Testing next time.

looking nice! I will be at school earlier in the day before class tomorrow, it would be cool if I could get some of the leads and others there to get the game put together a little more before class.
